Community Based Child Development Centre visit by Norwegian Embassy and his team members

Dhangadhi 17th Kartik 2066, Temri Community based Child development centre(CBCDC) Srilanka freed Kamaiya camp Geta was visited by his Excellency Mr.  Thor Gislesen, Ambassador & wife, Royal Norwegian Embassy, head of education department Norway Ms. Kristine and Save the Children Nepal and Bhutan country director Mr. Brian Hunter. Similarly there was also presence of BASE Nepal executive Director Mr. Churna Bahadur Chaudhary, BASE Kailali district president Mr. Ram Rasile Chaudhary and BASE Kailali district president Mr. Lokjan Chaudhary. During the visit activities of the CBCDC was observed and meeting was conducted with parents and management committee members.

Dhangadhi , 15th Kartik 2066 Suryodaya Child Club, Jhalari Geta was visited by his Excellency Mr.  Thor Gislesen, Ambassador & wife, Royal Norwegian Embassy, head of education department Norway Ms. Kristine and Save the Children Nepal and Bhutan country director Mr. Brian Hunter. Similarly there was also presence of BASE Nepal executive Director Mr. Churna Bahadur Chaudhary and BASE Nepal vice president Mr. Yagya Raj Chaudhary on that occasion. The visit team observed the activities of the club and took information about the situation of child club. During the visit the Norwegian ambassador gave his speech.

Similarly Suryodaya Child club Jhalari and Sandesh Child club Geta-4 Geta performed tharu cultural hori dance and Sakhiya dance respectively. Likewise Bishojyoti child club Geta-9, Jhalali performed street drama on early child marriage issue. BASE has been supporting these child club since it's establishment.
